Hello there everyone =]

It’s great to be home. I know I haven’t posted anything since summer but let’s  give a round of applause for Emily’s hard work. The sound cloud posts are awesome!! I hope you all were able to download all of your favorites. I know I did!! This week starts WMSR’s UNLEASHED WEEK!!! That’s when all the radio shows start back up on Miami University’s Campus! You know what that means, right? Yup! Cuz We’re Like Adventurers will be broadcasting for the first time this year on Sunday Night.  That’s this Sunday Night at 8pm. We’re really excited about that and have planned to go with a party theme (dance music, etc) to celebrate our first night.

On to other matters: As we continue to fill you guys in on concerts, tours, new artist, and good clean fun we will also continue to work on artist spotlights.

Artist Spotlight of this week is: Hoodie Allen

Hoodie Allen is a New York based rapper.  He uses indie artists such as Marina & Diamond, VV Brown and Two Door Cinema Club song samples and incorporates it into his lyrics. His first hit song on hypem was ” You Are Not A Robot” which features Marina & the Diamonds.

Allen has crazy cool free sounds that are easily downloadable right from his facebook page. “You Are Not A Robot”ft Marina and the Diamonds, “Words of Wisdom”, and “Making Waves” are all on the facebook page. His “Bagels and Beats EP is on there as well.  Allen’s new album “Pep Rally” Is also available for download right on his page—FOR FREE!!
